We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this spacious apartment. We are both short so the low ceilings felt very cozy. We fondly dubbed it the "hobbit house". Both bedrooms are lovely, great eating area, comfortable couches. The balcony was perfect for sipping coffee and enjoying the beautiful views of the shear vertical rock faces, waterfalls and town chapel.
Doskonala lokalizacja, fantastyczny widok z okien na 300-metrowy wodospad i osniezone szczyty Alp. Wygodny apartament - duzo miejsca, dobre wyposazenie, tylko troche nisko ;-) Sympatyczni i pomocni wlasciciele. Doskonala baza wypadowa do wycieczek po przepieknej alpejskiej dolinie pelnej urokliwych wodospadów (podobno 72).
This is a great apartment in an excellent location. Looking out over the church and waterfall is a special outlook. The only potential downside to this apartment is that the chalet is split into 4, with another apartment to the side and above you, separated by thin wooden walls, and these are rented out to young hotel workers. So it's easy to hear other people, and yet with a word from the owner, we overcame this and as the pros outweigh these cons, we would stay there again as a family.
We arrived a little late at night after a train ride from Zurich. But, it was so pleasant to find Paul, the owner waiting for us near the bus stop. Paul and Alice are a lovely couple, very friendly, and approachable. They made us felt very welcome. We felt very much at home and eventually extended another night.
The apartment was ideally situated, about 10 minutes walk from the railway station. The bus stop is just opposite the apartment, maybe about 50m or so.There were also several restaurants and cafes nearby. The apartment was clean and spacious and have everything a family would need. The village and neighborhood are very quiet, calm and peaceful and so we had a very peaceful night sleep. Its lovely to wake up every morning and feel the fresh breeze and coolness of Lauterbrunnen and the beautiful view of the Staubbach Falls. Would love to visit again and I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone.
Chalet Grosshorn was ideal for our needs. The owners live in an adjoining apartment, and although we knew we'd be a little late in arriving, Alice gave us a cheery wave as we spotted her. The owners are very friendly, and approachable, which put us at ease.
The apartment was ideally situated, about 10 minutes walk from the railway station. It was a really good base for us to explore both the Lauterbrunnen valley, and beyond. There were also several restaurants nearby, and the apartment, although plain, was clean and spacious. The view from the bedroom was exactly as the last photo too!

Situation exceptionnelle face à la cascade du staubach, dans le village de Lauterbrunnen, proche de la gare pour Wengen.
Equipement de l'appartement très bon.
Les proprietaires sont très gentils.
Seul la chambre du haut n'est pas bonne (le plancher grince fortement)
mais heureusement la literie est très bonne.
Nous avons passé de superbe vacances en famille, je recomande fortement cette location.
Sfeervolle woning, alleen moet je niet langer zijn dan ongeveer 1.85 om ongehinderd door de woning te kunnen lopen.
En de suggestie wordt op de foto's gewekt dat de auto overdekt staat, maar de bedoeling is dat je rechts naast de overpakking gaat staan.
Verder alles oké en mooi nabij het centrum gelegen.
